On our website (emlakcizafer.com) we use a limited number of cookies and browser storage keys only to run the site, remember your preferences and — if you consent — measure requests sent through contact forms. This policy explains which ones we use, why, and how you can manage your choice.
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences or keep your session open when you return.
2. Cookies and Storage We Use
| Type | Purpose | Name |
|---|---|---|
| Essential cookie | Session cookie for admin login and so that a listing's view count does not increase again in the same visit. Deleted when the browser closes. | PHPSESSID |
| Preference cookie | Remembers the site language you chose explicitly; kept for 1 year. | zf_dil |
| Browser storage (stays on your device, not sent to the server) | Your cookie banner choice; listings saved as favourites, recently viewed listings and personal notes; how often the review invitation and featured listings strip are shown. | localStorage: cookieConsent, favorites, zf_son_bakilan, personal_note_…, zf_davet_sus, zf_google_sus; sessionStorage: zf_sayfa, zf_serit_kapali, zf_kenar_kapali, zf_kart_goruldu, zf_davet_goruldu |
| Measurement (third party, only with consent) | If you consent, the Google tag (gtag, Google LLC) is loaded and measures submissions of the contact and offer forms. Personalised advertising signals are off. Without consent it is not loaded at all. | _gcl_au and cookies on Google's own domains |
| Map (third party) | On pages with a map, the map is loaded from Yandex Maps, which may use cookies on its own domain. If Yandex is unavailable, an OpenStreetMap map is shown. | Yandex cookies (on Yandex domains) |
Anonymous visit counting: To see which pages are read, we run a cookie-free count on our own server. Your IP address is not stored: together with your browser details it is condensed into an irreversible code using a secret key that is replaced every day (the old key is deleted), so the code cannot be matched to anything the next day. Only the page address, the domain of the site that referred you, the device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and the site language are recorded. Detailed records are deleted after 40 days; after that only daily totals remain. If you accepted cookies, a marker that is deleted automatically when the browser tab is closed (sessionStorage) is used to recognise the first page of a visit.
3. How Can You Manage Cookies?
- Cookie banner: on your first visit you can accept or reject the Google measurement tag. To change your decision, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner appears again.
- Browser settings: you can delete existing cookies and block future ones in your browser settings; see your browser's help menu.
Please note that blocking essential cookies may stop some functions of our website from working properly.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page.
